Finally, a number that moves
I have been scanning every Sunday for two months. Texture went from 54 to 71 and I can point at exactly which week it turned. Nothing else gave me that.
One selfie, seven scores, and a routine built from what it actually finds.
Here’s how your skin scored.
Natural light, no makeup, look straight ahead.
Front camera, natural light, fill the oval. The whole thing takes about ten seconds.
Here’s how your skin scored.
Seven attributes and five face zones, each scored out of 100, with the weakest one first.
A morning and an evening routine built from your scores. Short enough that you will keep doing it.
Every scan lands in the same place, so the change is a line rather than a feeling. Dermi only reports a shift once it is bigger than what measurement noise can explain — no manufactured wins.
+11 overall
Nothing under 3 points is shown — that is the smallest change we can tell apart from measurement noise.
I have been scanning every Sunday for two months. Texture went from 54 to 71 and I can point at exactly which week it turned. Nothing else gave me that.
Four steps, morning and night. It did not try to sell me an eleven-step routine and it did not pretend my skin was worse than it is.
I checked. The full photo goes away right after the scan and only a small thumbnail stays for the diary. That is the reason I kept it installed.
The zone map showed my redness was almost entirely cheeks. I had been treating my whole face for something that lived in one place.
I scanned twice in a row to test it and got 78 and 79. Close enough that I trust the trend, which is all I wanted.
Downloading Dermi, taking your first scan and seeing your full score breakdown — the overall number, all seven attributes and the zone map — costs nothing. The paywall sits in front of your personalised routine, the ingredient guidance and progress tracking across scans. A subscription starts with a 3-day free trial; if you cancel before it ends you are not charged.
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore purchases, making sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account that bought the subscription. Apple ties the purchase to that account, not to your Dermi profile, so restoring works on any device you sign in to. If it still does not appear, email support@getdermi.com with the Apple receipt and we will sort it out.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled through Apple: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Dermi, then Cancel Subscription. The app's Settings screen has a Manage subscription link that takes you straight there. Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and deleting the app on its own does not cancel anything.
Apple handles all billing and all refunds for App Store purchases, so we cannot issue one directly. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple Account that made the purchase. If something in Dermi went wrong, write to us at support@getdermi.com first — we will look into it and we are happy to back up your refund request to Apple.
Dermi scores what is visible in a photo — breakouts, redness, texture, dark spots, pores, fine lines and how hydrated your skin looks. Scan the same face twice in a row and the overall score typically lands within a few points, which is why we only report a change once it clears that noise floor. It is cosmetic guidance and it is deliberately consistent rather than clinical: it is not a diagnosis, it does not detect skin cancer or any other medical condition, and anything that worries you belongs in front of a dermatologist.
The full-size selfie is uploaded, scored and then deleted — it is gone as soon as the scan finishes, and it is never used to train models or shown to anyone. What stays behind is a small thumbnail and the numeric scores, so your progress view and photo diary still work. You can delete your account and everything in it from the app's Settings screen at any time, and that removes the thumbnails and scores too.
Scan tonight, get your routine in the morning. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
